Kidnapped from the Coral Triangle

While some of us are familiar with the current problems in the Coral Triangle stemming from overfishing and illegal fishing practices, few of us are aware of the millions of live reef fish taken from there every year. These fish, valued at more than $1 billion US dollars, make their journey to Hong Kong first in underwater nets, then by plane and finally end up in a tank at an upscale restaurant waiting to be selected by a hungry patron.
